Manye Academy
Manye Academy was founded in 2002 to educate children of migrant families in a squatter settlement in Kpone Barrier, Ghana. Manye students are children of farmers, carpenters, construction workers, and, in some cases, rag pickers. These students have dreams of growing up to be doctors, pilots, and bank managers. With WPE involvement, Manye's first-ever graduation class has a 100% pass rate on the national exam, along with all of the graduates achieving distinction in at least one subject, far exceeding the national average. More about MANYE.
